Aidwatch is a Swiss emergency watch platform with backend services and several APIs built from sketch to production.
Because the product is health-related and sometimes life-related, reliable communication was a core requirement from the start.

Safety alerts must be delivered even when one channel fails
Aidwatch had to transfer watch data and safety notifications reliably between the device, backend services, and third parties.
A single delivery failure was not acceptable in emergency scenarios.

Aidwatch required a reliability-first approach because communication failures could directly affect emergency response.
Using EDC, we identified the most critical watch-to-service and service-to-third-party flows and built them with redundancy, fallback paths, and uptime-focused monitoring.
